We are 40 years since Professor Branemark introduced his research on osseointegration to the dental community. Dental Implants provide our patients with successful long-term restorative solutions for function, comfort, and aesthetics. Today, Dental Hygienists are seeing more patients with dental implants. Implant manufacturers have introduced new implant designs, surfaces, and surface chemistry that affect biocompatibility and maintenance protocols. There are concerns about what materials we use to reduce peri-implant inflammation, may negatively affect the implant surface's biocompatibility and the implant’s long-term success. This CE webinar will review dental implant component materials and design and the biological compatibility of commonly used instruments, technology, and therapeutic materials.

Zirconia and lithium disilicate (eMax and others) are the two most common direct restorative materials. Predictable long term cementation success is dependent on the proper pre-cementation treatment and understanding the different cement options available. As we currently do not have a universal it is important to understand the different cement options to make an informed decision. This CE webinar is designed to review the proper pre-cementation protocols and discuss the different cement categories to help the viewer create a workflow and thought process that will increase the predictability of their restorations.

Most doctors know the LANAP® and LAPIP™ protocols but it’s the Value-Added Procedures (VAPS™) that make laser dentistry unstoppable.
In this business-forward, no-fluff CE webinar, Dr. Vivian Roknian reveals how to unlock the full financial potential of laser dentistry, turning it from a single-purpose tool into a true practice growth engine. You’ll learn how to stack high-yield, low-overhead procedures that diode and erbium lasers simply can’t touch—from implant osteotomy detox and hemangioma removal to herpetic lesion treatment, paresthesia recovery and cosmetic upgrades patients are demanding.
This CE webinar goes far beyond the LANAP® and LAPIP™ protocols. It’s a masterclass in dozens of laser protocols that drive patient satisfaction and revenue while expanding what’s clinically possible in your operatory.
Whether you already own a laser or are on the fence, this webinar will show you exactly how to increase chair value, scale patient production, and build a more profitable, future-ready practice using minimally invasive treatments.

Substance abuse is at an all-time “high” in this country with an estimated 1 out of every 10 Americans addicted to prescription or illicit drugs. As dental professionals, we must awaken to the reality that many of our patients have substance-use disorders and that our examination findings of advanced caries, severe hyposalivation, and poor plaque control are often the effects of depressant, stimulant, and opioid abuse. In this CE webinar, learn how to recognize the clues of substance abuse from a routine dental examination, discuss your concerns and suspicions with patients, develop and deliver safe and effective dental treatment, and manage pain with non-opioid medications. *Note: Course content does not include marijuana
Dental providers face the daunting task of guiding patients down the path of proper periodontal care, which can be exhausting for the provider and daunting for the patient. This CE webinar aims to empower dental hygienists and dentists to deliver excellent periodontal care that leaves the patient ultra-satisfied and the dental team proud. Learn the key strategies to seamlessly convert patients from prophy to perio through clear education, calibrated care plans, and unified communication. Uncover the undeniable link between exceptional periodontal care and the triumph of your dental hygiene department. Master essential expertise to assess patient risk factors, tailor treatment plans, and guide patients from prophy to perio with finesse, ensuring proper periodontal percentages and practice growth.
Patients come into our office with misaligned, chipped or discolored bonded restorations. However, due to social media, patients are more fearful of "drilling" on their teeth. Therefore, they become very apprehensive about treatment. It is crucial to educate and communicate to our patients and use a more conservative approach to enhancing their smile. Step one for success is to correctly align the teeth in order to have long term results with composite bonding. Step two is assessing where and how much is needed to enhance the newly positioned teeth to create a more esthetic result. Composite bonding can yield immediate results and gratifications.

So how do we elevate our practice and what does elevating our practice do for our career, business and patients. It actually does quite a lot. For one, it helps with employee retention. A recent poll showed that the number one reason why a dental hygienist leaves a dental practice is because the practice is not innovative, it's doing the same ol same ol and they feel they are stuck in a rut, not learning anything new. nor are they trying new techniques and products. Also part of our episode today is talking about incorporating diagnostics into our practice. Instead of rushing through the medical history and moving right to our scaling, root planing and prophies, we should dedicate time to diagnostic testing, getting to the root cause of the problem. As our guest Amanda Hill will explain, diagnostic testing is a game-changer for the practice and not only builds trust between the practice and the patient, but also drives revenue to a whole new level.

Most of us have started using zirconia as a material for our indirect restorations. We either mill it chairside or send it out to the lab to be fabricated. Either way we need to make sure that our technique is perfect when delivering it to the tooth, especially if we are working with a non-retentive prep. If we need to rely on adhesion, we have to understand the nuances of bonding zirconia to tooth structure. To tell us all about it is our guest Dr. Alex Vasserman. Dr Vasserman is a respected clinician running his own practice on the Upper East side of Manhattan.
